WARUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUP! I'm kinda late in making this post so let's just jump right into the top 10 series and see which ones I'll be watching.
Witch Hat Atelier is the new mainstream show of the season. I know absolutely nothing about it, but it looks promising so I'll check it out. Re:Zero season 4 is a skip. I'm surprisingly caught up with Classroom of the Elite so I'll check out season 4 even though I've never been too impressed by the show.
That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime season 4 is a skip, but I will be checking out Daemons of the Shadow Realm cuz it's from the creator of Fullmetal Alchemist. Also as I soon as I saw Shadow Realm I got Yugioh flashbacks so I'll see what it's about. No idea what Wistoria: Wand and Sword season 2 is, but it being more popular than Dr. Stone Science Future Part 3 (which I'll be watching) is criminal. Finally, we got 3 skips in a row in The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten 2, I Made Friends with the Second Prettiest Girl in My Class and Marriagetoxin. You know how I feel about romance shows.
Looking outside the top 10, I'll check out Liar Game. Madhouse adapting a high stakes game series reminds me of Kaiji so this has some potential. I got volume 1 of the Rooster Fighter manga so I'm actually somewhat familiar with it and I like how goofy it is. I'll be watching it along with Hokuto No Ken: Fist of the North Star, though I have the same problem for both series and that's the CGI. It kinda looks like they're using the Kengan Ashura quality CGI, which isn't totally awful but as someone who has seen the original, the retelling Gaiden movies and read a good chunk of the manga... CGI is NOT the way for this series.
Getting into the ONAs, we got Dandelion, which I've already seen. It's from the creator of Gintama so there were a shit ton of references, which I loved. Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves - Wolfgang Krauser is another one I've already seen cuz I actually like the old school Fatal Fury movies. Unexpected PEAK! Finally... BAKI DOU PART 2 BABYYYYYYYYYYY!!! This season was honestly looking weak, but at the last second this gem got announced and saved the entire situation. There are many things I can and have criticised about the anime adaptation and "power pointification" (trademarked, copyrighted, patented) of Baki, but the fact is every time a new season is out I'm GLUED to the screen until I finish it.
Finally, not much going on in the films section so the only movie I'll be watching is the 3rd Mononoke film.
