BIG NEWS EVERYONE! I'm changing the format of the seasonal "What Will I be Watching" blogs. If you've been reading for a while you know I always go through the top 10 most popular anime of the season first and see what I'll watch from there before talking about everything else I'll be watching. Well I realized I don't actually care about the top 10 and there was really no point in outlining series I won't watch so from now on I will ONLY be talking about the the seasonal anime I WILL be watching.
Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You is something I'll watch purely because of the main character's waifu potential. I'll check out Chainsmoker Cat for the memes, but from the few clips I've seen this shit genuinely looks disgusting so I might regret it... What I won't regret watching though is Bleach TYBW Cour 4. I can't believe the finale of Bleach is actually upon us. I'm really hoping Kubo picks the series back up again with the Hell arc, but if not, we'll see one of the big 3 finally end.
Dara-san of Reiwa looks like it has potential to be fun so I'll give it a chance. Grand Blue Dreaming Season 3 is dropping perfectly for the summer so I'm relying on the seasonality to increase my enjoyment of it, but what I'm REALLY excited for is The Ghost in the Shell. I've seen pretty much the entire Ghost in the Shell franchise except Arise, so I'm pretty excited for this one especially since it's supposed to be more maga accurate and show us a goofier side of Kusanagi.
No ONAs on the list this time but I will DEFINITELY be checking out the Sekiro: No Defeat movie. Just saying that out loud seems so surreal. It's one of those things that almost feel like they shouldn't exist, kinda like the Elden Ring manga. I got high hopes for this one! Mob Psycho 100: 10th Anniversary Special Video is also categorized as a movie for some reason even though it's 2 minutes long. Maybe it was shown in the cinemas? Either way I like Mob Psycho a lot so I'll check it out. Finally, we got One Piece: Heroines, which I actually already watched and was pleasantly surprised that the whole thing was directed by Hideo Kojima. The amount of feet in these 20 minutes genuinely exceeds the amount of feet in your average Frieren episode... which is crazy.
